hot water but no heating why ?

i have hot water but no heat to my radiators . please push me in the right direction.

sounds to me with the little amount of info to work with that the system doesn't have enough pressure on it (approx 12 to 15 lbs)and is air bound. Add water to the system and then bleed out all the air in the baseboard or the rads.The other problem could very well be that the circulater isn't working. Test it for power. The third thing is to make sure is if you have a double or triple aquastat the is power going to the circ. side of the control. good luck.

If the system has been out of use the radiators may be air locked.
Is there an air bleed screw on them?
Also:
The domestic water is a seperate coail or heat exchanger, you do not use the heating water for drinking or washing.
Is the system fulll and the circulating pump running?

if you have a combi boiler and you are getting hot water but no heating I would say the valve that disstributes the water to the right area is stuck or duff
