Hi there, I plugged my Ipod 4th generation into my pc this morning and it made my pc reboot! When it switched itself back on however the monitor, keyboard and mouse did not work. I have no idea what has happened. Can you help me ???

you need to reset the bios, not something a novice can do. a gifted friend or the local pc shop.

I dont think there was to much plugged in, just the usual stuff really. Yes my ipod was still in but I took it out and tried rebooting the pc, it comes on but the monitor stays blank and the lights for the keyboard and mouse dont come on. I am very confused as to why it has happened and its my bf's pc which i use all the time for my ipod so i dont understand why all of a sudden this has happened. I just really hope someone can help me fix it.

Could it be that you have a lot plugged into your PC and this caused a power failure. (Too many devices drawing too much power?)

Was the iPod plugged in when you rebooted? If so, detach it and try rebooting again.
