How can I fix my delonghi dual fuel cooker?

My cooker is a dual fuel cooker, the other day when I was roasting chicken, the fan in the oven stopped, and then started again, then a few seconds later , there was a bang in the over, which blew the fuse in the fuse box and the oven hasn't worked since, Ive sorted out the electrics in the fuse box, and when I did the clock on the oven came on ,so I tried the oven and it came on for a split second, then it blew again, so can anyone give me an idea as to what the problem could be please? Its a Delonghi Dual Fuel Professional cooker

Had a similar problem with my DFS 901 SS dual fuel cooker recently. I needed a new main oven comunicator ( the one on the left that selects the oven functions) the contacts and the shaft with all the cams that does the switching of the various elements of the oven. It also needed the thermostat switch that controls oven temperature. The total cost of parts was £118.00 including next day delivery from www.partmaster.co.uk It's quite a job to find a qualified fitter for a dual fuel cooker but I manage to fit and connect both parts in just over1.5 hours. Good Luck. Remember to switch off at the mains!
