Is there any alternative to an oil lifter on Danesmoor 15/19?

The engineer has tried everything but not sure of the details, after the boiler went into lockout. Months after we still have had no success, the oil is getting to the tiger loop but cutting out after about a minute... hence having the oil lifter fitted on the outside wall which is too unsightly. Is there anything else that can be done? getting desperate now as it has been months being worked on. By the way the pump is a Danfloss.

A Tigerloop should be able to pull up oil to 3.5Mtrs, so unless your boiler is in an upstairs room an oil lifter should not be needed, I am concerned that an Oil lifter has been fitted externally as these are Electrically operated and generally are not weather proof???

Sounds to me like you may have had air leaking into the suction pipe to your Tiggerloop, or there is a problem with the oil burner such as oil pumnp of solenoid coil etc etc
