The rads are still not heating up after suggested fix work?

I asked the question of why the downstairs rads were not heating up and i was advised (by peccavi) to turn off upstairs and see if they come on. This did work but it still took about 1 hour for them to heat up. The kitchen rad was always the last one to heat so it was suggested to take the rad off and flush it out which i did. While it was off i tested the valves either side and they were ok. Irefitted the rad after draining some water out to enable me to put some inhibitor in. Now the system is worse than ever, theres only 2 rads upsatirs working. Ive checked the pump and the CH valve and both ok. PLEASE HELP.

Charlieboy thanks for your reply. Everyting checks out ok, including the pump, we have red hot water and the feed pipe to the heating is red hot but the return is stone cold as are the radiators. It looks like i have a blockage somewhere. Do you think a strong chemical rinse will free it ?

Although the pump may be running, it is possible the the impeller has become detached, does it circulate well around the hot water circuit, what boiler do you have, does the temperature on you boiler rise very quickly, is your system dirty?
