Not sure how to remove the old brushes with new brushes. Have a Hotpoint Electronic 800 Plus 9515. Any help would be greatly appreciated - pulling out my hair here =o)

remove the plug remove the top remove the belt and unbolt the motor remove the wires to the brush holders then with a small screwdriver lift the retaining tags under the brush holder (you will see a small cut out under the brushes)slide the holders out and replace with new one untill they clip into the motor housing then lift the small brass tag holding the carbons in the holders replace the wires rebuild and off you go
