Zanussi F5155W wont start?

My washing machine won't start! It clicks three times and then bleeps as if the door is open. Interestingly it does the same whether the door is open or shut. Anyone got any ideas?

The door clicks 3 times and then bleeps 4 times. Could it be the door switch, as it does exactly the same whether the door is open or shut.

door lock faulty.does it then bleep or flash 4 times?.if so new door interlock will be required for sure.
