Fisher & Paykel gwl11?

I believe my brother when installing my washer crossed the hot & cold water inlet water lines. The error lights were the 5th and 7th light. I call'd the company and the error code was "Temperature Sensor..." How can this be repaired? What part is needing replacing? Please help!!!!

F&P smartdrive machines do not have heating elements. The temperature sensor (called a thermistor) is fitted to the water chamber attached to the inlet valves & measures the water temperature entering the machine and sends the reading to the controller which will then regulate the hot & cold valves to give the correct mix. Put the hoses on the correct taps & run machine it may work ok. If the error comes up again change the thermistor. They are not very expensive & easy to change.

Temp sensors can't be repaired...but they can be replaced cheaply & easily.
The sensor (NTC) is located in a rubber fitting on the heater element, it is simply pulled out & replaced with a new one. Although they told you the fault lies with the NTC sensor it could be elsewhere.
