I got home from work to find that the central heating has not come on, when I turned it on nothing happened. There is no sound coming from the boiler and the pilot light is not alight. Nothing in the house has tripped out. So I am struggling to find the cause.
Louise, I have just had the same problem, I had an engineer come out today and he says the reason nothing is happening is because the relay has gone, am awaiting the part to see if this cures the problem.
Hope this helps.

Sounds like the fans stuck. It will need replacing by a Corgi registered engineer.
