how can i fix my garage door?

my garage door remote control is not connecting to the main system within the garage although the light is coming on and will not allow us to open the door manually with the key.

If a Garadoor upnover try contacting the manufacturer www.garador.co.uk. Or if you have a secondary exit door look on the inside of your upnover for the manufacturer and do a google search if its not a Garador.
Seems strange you can't open manually if the unit IS faulty.
