My SMEG dishwasher does not seem to be running water. ?

My SMEG dishwasher does not seem to be running water. It is as if it is blocked, It runs the cycle but no water is let through. Can anyone advise me? Thanks

The problem is most likely to be a faulty solenoid valve which switchs the water on when the machine is in use .
