what happened to my cd player?

i hooked up my yellow wire up to my hot wire in my truck and then i hooked my red (Acc) wire up to that then i hooked up my ground and it started actin up and sparking alot. it worked but when my cd player hit some metal in my truck that was grounded it started sparking then it would not cut back on then it did come back on then it hit some more metal and now its not working at all and when i tryied to hook it up to my battery it would not eaven spark when i touched my ground to my truck, like it was not getting any fire or somthang. whats wrong

sounds like uve knock a power wire while "live" to your stereo case - firsttime u were lucky, second time not quite - probably blown some internal resistors on the head unit - will need to be fixed by a specialist car audio person - hard to find - not expensive though - theck car fuses and fuse on stereo first though
