i have just changed my ignision barell as my heater wasent working now my heater is working and my car wont start as my imobilisor has kiked in and the alarm is goioin of and the problem is i have lost my thorb please help me to by pass this problem

From what I can see there's often a code number to put in (somehow) and the number should be on the car's paperwork. Without the number it might be an expensive fix.

Well I'm sorry - the question looked like some scallywag had got hold of a car belonging to someone else - I still can't believe that changing the ignition barrel can have anything at all to do with curing a heater fault but you've changed it anyway.

The thing you mention is usually called a Key-Fob I think - a gizmo to cancel a car's security alarm.

I have no experience with car imobillisers but would suspect that if the ignition (barrel) circuit is disturbed the imobilliser believes the car is being stolen. Nobody here I would guess is likely to tell you how to over-ride the imobilliser for fear of telling real scallywags how to nick cars.

I believe you need a specialist to call on you.

tge car is a citrion saxo wich is a comon problem when the heater does not work after all the fuses electriks you have to change the ignision barell it maybe called a forb its the litte buton you press to stop the alarm if i sit in my car and you dont press the bitton the car will not turn over so we are at the stage were we have took the old ignisio barrell out and put the new one in first turn of the key all electrics come on then followed by the alarm which then in turn my car wont turn over thats why i know my heater is working

A new ignition barrel will not cure a heater fault - the whole question appears mighty suspicious - whose car is it? - what car is it? - what is a thorb? - And if you can't start the car how do you know that the heater problem is cured?
