HOW DO I STOP A LEAKING PIPE FROM BOILER ?

i have a MAXI 80e/105e boiler, which has developed a slight leak from the hot water pipe on the thread under the boiler only when its hot.
Is it advisable to tighten the nut on the thread to stop the leak ?
