Grohe dual flush concealed cistern?

My Grohe cistern flushes ok BUT the outlet valve doesn't drop to seal. Pressing flush button sometimes releases it, sometimes hitting tiles drops it, otherwise have to remove flush plate and manually touch it to push it down. Can't see anything that would obstruct it. Any ideas?

hi
have you checked that the air pipes are not obstructing the outlet valve plunger. Mine did the same, but I found that that the air pipes were potentially catching the plunger, and moved them through the small guide hole near the front of the unit (they were bending round the side rather than coming straight up). That seems to have helped a bit.
