The pump is running all the time because you have a leakage on the bottom plate & this has activated the flood protection device. You need to locate & rectify the leak before it'll work properly. You can confirm it by leaning the machine slightly to drain off the water, after that it should start again...but the problem will return unless the leak is fixed permanently.
