Should the laser light be on all of the time on a DUR-1800 with
a 8 1/2" display, Initial Technology, Inc., portable DVD Player?
The laser is intermittent when the DVD is in place and it is reading no disc.
if the laser is weak and can't focus on the disc it will turn off and say no disc.what usually happens is u will see 2 different intensity lights coming from laser. the dull light is searching for cd data and the brighter is looking for dvd data
