DD603 F2 error code?

Okay, I now understand my problem. When I remove all the parts inside, the blue impeller, the tan lock ring, etc. the rotor assembly should also come out easily. Mine will absolutely not come out. Just to compare, I removed all this from the other drawer and everything came out easy, rotor and all. Piece of cake, quick and simple.

Now I think I understand my problem is something is jammed inside the rotor assembly. With vise-grips on the bottom of the rotor shaft I pull upward very hard and it still will not come out. How can I get the rotor assy out without damage to the motor assy?

Looks like brute force is your only option & pray that it comes out without further damage.
