Ravenheat combi boiler pressure?

The pressure has been accidentally set to almost 3 (bars) by pulling forward on the black tap undermeath - it should be < 2 bars. How can I reduce the pressure?
The tap seems reluctant to be pressed in the opposite direction.

you need to reduce the pressure in the system, the easiest way is to open a bleedvalve on a radiator and drain some water off but this may take some time. to be honest it doesn't really matter if it's 1 bar over, just leave it as it is.

Leave tha tap alone, (i.e closed) and reduce your boiler pressure by bleeding water away from a convenient radiator valve.
