The handle bars on my harley kept slipping. I took the riser clamps off and put a piece of dywall sanding cloth between the riser and the handle bar. Be careful not to tighten the risers too tight. I over tightened them once and stripped the riser housing. I tapped the holes and put in bigger set screws. Good luck...............

take the peice that holds your handle bars to your bike off then put a dime or a quater in there and then tighten the screws on top of it. tighten as tight as possible.

If the handle bar is loose on ths stem, loosed the clamp bolt and open it up a little , then slip in a piece of emery cloth and re clamp it and the clamp will hold.If you want to get the stem out you need to undo the screw a few turn and then knoch the screw down into the stem to release the wedge inside and then pull up and twist the handle bars at the same time

Not seeing it, it is a little hard. Can they be shimmed? open the collar up wide then wrap a thin sheet of steel around the area of the handlebar that had grip lines then tighten the bolt good and tight? Or is the tightening bolt stripped too?
