how can i find the fuse for the stereo on a 1997 ford fiesta ?

where is the fuse for the stereo on a 1997 p reg fiesta ive found the fuse box under the bonnet but there isnt a fuse for the stereo is there anywhere else it would be its not the stereo thats gone because ive put 2 stereos in and neither are working

Hi Sarah, there are`two fuses for the standard Ford radio they are in the fusebox by the drivers right knee, fuse 19 10amp is the ignition supply and fuse 22 10amp is the memory supply, these are fed by fuses in the fusebox under the bonnet, fuse 39 60amp feeds fuse 22 and fuse 40 60amp feeds fuse 19 through the ignition switch, if a copy of the wiring diagram would help contact me on nige110162(at symbol)hotmail.co.uk

some modernish stereo systems carry a tiny spade type fuse located in the rear of the stereo player, you may have over looked this one, the other method used long time past, was a inline fuse in the stereo/radio supply feed wire. .
