How can I dismantle my siemens toaster model TT91100GB/04 FD:8303?

How can I dismantle my siemens TT911 toaster to investigate why it is not heating up? There are 2 retaining screws on the underside but on removal it is still not possible to remove the plastic panels on either the base or ends.

UNPLUG IT FROM THE SUPPLY !!!!
remove the slider knobs which send the plate warmer up and the start switch , prise the blue base at the control end up and away from the base about quarter of an inch.
leave the blue plastic end piece at the control end then slide the brushed aluminium case off away from the control end.

If you are not electrically qualified - leave it alone.!

You have to ease the base away from metal cover and pull gently . Most of the knobs fell off as the workings came free. As to the toaster not heating up,sounds like the filament which is my problem. No joy in finding a spare yet.Do you want to sell your duff toaster.
