On Miele dishwashers & driers, how can I disable the annoying alarm that sounds at the end of the program?

On new ones - switch off, open door, switch on, press and hold start, it will blink, hold until it lights up and then it will go into the settings mode, use ^ keys to go to Sound, click "OK", then select Buzzer and move it down until it says "Off". Yes, this is annoying as hell and the engineer who designed it should have insomnia until he fixes it.

The buzzer is activated as standard at
the factory.
You can deactivate the buzzer at the
end of a programme if you wish. The
buzzer will still sound if there is a fault,
even if it has been deactivated.
^ Open the door.
^ Switch the dishwasher off with the Off
button V.
^ Press the programme selector button
in, and whilst holding it in switch
the dishwasher on using the On
button U.
Keep the programme selector button
pressed in until the lower right hand
programme indicator comes on.
If this does not happen, start the
procedure from the beginning again.
