Why does my set top box not retain the resettings when I turn off the power?

I have to reset my Matusi Digita; receiver every time I turn the power back on if I want to use all available services - including BBC Radio 7.
I do not want to leave anything on 'styandby' if the power can be turned off.

Why can't I get a direct question to the maker, instaed of being exploited by 'experts' ?

You do get what you pay for.

Matsui isn't the maker. It's a product brand invented by the DRG group, I think, for their cheap own brand products, which are manufactured by the lowest Chinese/Taiwanese etc., bidder.

Looks like the radio doesn't keep its settings memorised when the power is off.

You may be able to talk the shop into taking it back as not fit for purpose, if you can convince then it would be reasonable to expect the settings to be maintained.

Then buy a reputable brand

Check www.hotukdeals.com for bargains. Through them I found a great end-of-range Sony DAB radio/CD with USB input and an 80G internal hard disk for half price.
