Kenwood Model # 110.26912691.The washer works except it will not spin dry the clothes. How do I fix it so the spin feature works? What specific part(s) do I need to complete repair of machine? Help!

My Kenwood 90 series would not spin or agitate. I came here first. Found video instructions from youtube, came back here and bought the part $11.50 plus $6.95 for shipping on Thursday evening. The part came today, Tuesday, I put it on... solved a little issue with it overflowing (which was fixed by tips on this site).. The machine is now working like a dream.. Al for a couple of days and uder $20.00

Rob, this can be caused by various things, the most common cause is a broken lid switch (when closing lid ensure that you hear a click sound, if not lid switch may be broken if you do and the timer stops advancing timer may be bad). If timer advances from rinse to off you have a bad gearcase, if spin is weak you may need a new basket drive (spins clothes basket), or clothing may be stuck inbetween wash tub and basket (binding spin cycle). good luck, Rob
