silavent extractor fan?

how can i tell if the circuit board or the motor has burnt out on a silavent cur7003 extractor fan ??

For 230v models (see sticker)

Unscrew the motor wires from the circuit board and press them against the L & N terminals where the supply enters the extractor unit. If it doesn't turn, it's burned out.

Alternatively check the motor for continuity with a multimeter. If the motor checks out OK, then suspect the circuit board. One assumes that you have checked power to the extracter using a test lamp or multimeter.
