Don't know about actual version, but my sony trinitron is retuned by:
On side of TV, there is a press out panel.
In the middle, directly below the increase volume button is a another small button. Press this and it gives a new menu on the TV.
First question is re picture rotation, just ok 'not necessary'.
The next question is whether you want to start automatic tuning & you just press ok on yes.
