THE AIR FILTER IS IN THE AIR BOX IN FRONT OF THE BATTERY. SHOULD HAVE CLIPS ALROUND, JUST UNDO CLIPS, TOP OF AIR BOX COMES OFF AND THE AIR FILTER IS UNDERNEATH AND I BELIEVE ITS THE FLAT TYPE?
