how to pull up permanent dents in carpet left by moving furniture?

several months ago I moved the furniture in family room and now have 4-5 permanent indents in the carpet about the size of a silver dollar. I've used a toothbrush, vacuum hose, ice, everything under the sun to lift the dents up-I'm guessing this can't be done due to the dents are in the pad as well? THX for any suggestions!!

I would personally call a carpet cleaning company. You might also check with the warranty information in your carpet information. Many times, you can also simply use your hand to rub the dents out of the carpet. Depending on the type of carpet fiber you have, many newer fibers will bounce back on their own, you just have to give it sometime. We have a niche flooring forum that discusses this topic and many others. It is free to join and ask questions. You might find it helpful. try a steam iron, but put a wet towel over it when doing this .

silver dollar! U.S? The try this from U.K

Try a very stiff dry floor scrubbing brush it will take time for it to rise again. Mine did [size of a 50p coin] but it still slightly shows because the fibres get somewhat crushed.
Post answer to your question if it worked others may use the idea.
