How do you fix a jammed keyless chuck on a b&d drill?

I also have been struggling with a jammed keyless chuck on a b&d drill. However, the chuck is stuck in the closed position with a drive bit inside. So I can't get to the screw inside the chuck. What now?

I had a similar problem with my drill. While drilling, the drill jammed and snapped off the bit. this caused the chuck to tighten (more). I had to use two pipe wrenches to open the chuck. Hope this helps.
