How can I fix my Baxi baroque gas fire?

I am finding it difficult at times to ignite the fire even though the ignition spark is working o.k. On rare occassions, it will ignite after a couple of attempts but
is becoming more difficult to the point of not being able to use it at all.

Kind regards for any help.

How to change fire bulbs on back baroque gas fire

You could call a gas safe registered engineer and get the fire serviced if it has not been done within the last 12 months. The engineer could then advise you on what the problem is. if just pilot needing cleaning or the electrode needing adjusting then this should be done on the service.
He will also check the chimney is clear and then do a spillage test to make sure the fumes are going up the chimney safely.
For the outlay of money you have to spend your family are safe.

the pilot injector probably needs cleaned or replaced, or the position of the electrode may need to be adjusted.
