Hotpoint WD420 why are all lights rapidly flashing?
When I press the power on switch all the lights start flashing rapidly and I have to unplug the machine to stop it as it doesn't respond to pressing the switches. Repair man said it is a problem with damp but I am doubtful. Machine is 3 years old, have never used the dryer or misused machine and my kitchen is not particularly cold or damp.
My repair man said I would probably need a new board as he had a go at swapping a component on mine but it didn't work. He said cost of this plus labour was not really worth it. (I think PCB is the electrical control board)

Hi, Ive got exactly the same problem, as soon as I power on, all lights flash rapidly. Again, it's a 3 year old machine. Looking on the net, it appears it could be linked to a PCB whatever and wherever that is? Any tips??
