I bought a Thompson Top Up Digital Box DTI 6300 in 2008. Since the A-Z facility was added a few days ago all programs recorded were wiped off (library now empty). I left it on standby like your message said. Now it won't record anything. When I triy to record a series the 's' shows on the planned recordings, if I record a single program the 'r' does not show but nothing at all is recorded for either and later get a message up saying 'recording failed' sometimes with re-scheduled for ... but even then it does not record anything and comes up 'recording failed' again. The main light is green but when the little red light comes on (as if recording) it stays on continuously. It was all working fine until the A-Z facility was put on. How can I now record anything single program or series?

Re: Thompson Box not recording anything. If you email Thompson Top Up Customer Services, they will reply with instructions of what to do to rectify this problem. They were prompt in replying (couple of days). I followed the instructions and now my box is working fine. Although I lost the programs in my library the main thing is it is recording again.
