I left my starbucks barista espress machine (think its same as a Gaggia?) on for 48 hours and its switched itself on and now wont turn on.
Any ideas? Thanks.
I also have the same problem as above, however I do not see a trip switch on top of the pressure chamber, any other places I could look?

Alan - you are a star ! I was going to send mine off for repair - and it would have cost £90 ! On the top of the pressure chamber (with cover off) there were 2 element heads & 3 other small short cylinders in a row (all wired). I had tracked down the wires with a meter & I thought the middle cylinder needed replacing. It had a projection on the top of it (not square) so I pressed it down & hey presto - machine all operational again. It must be some form of master cutout as I'd left the machine on all day once in error, then it just would not operate at all. Many thanks - we really missed our coffee from this fab machine.

easy to sort, fiddly to explain- there's a little square trip switch amongst all the wires at the top of the chamber. It needs to be pushed down- obviously with the plug out! (and the casing unscrewed- easy)
