why do i have condensation in my loft?

i have condensation in my loft i have insulated it and have opened bits of felt to create ventilation! it is only when it is cold weather it starts?

But make sure the vents are clear in the soffit and that thay do go right throu into loft and not there just for decoration.

If you have small round vents in your soffit that are right throu, then increase the amount, manufactures recommend every 200mm all the way round. Which equates to a 20mm slot vent all the way round.

If you have a high pitch roof, fit 2 tiles two thirds the way up on all sides of the roof.

Warm wet air is entering your loft - if you have water tanks up there you might test the temperature of the water to see if that's a posible cause - put a max/min thermometer up there for a few days and see what it tells you about the air temperature - ideally the loft should be very cool. Might the loft hatch or a bathroom vent pipe be a culprit? Make sure the insulation stops short of the eaves.
