help me set up an old kenwood stereo system?

Mom has appox. 10 year old Kenwood 106 system that includes, cassette to cassette, turntable, amplifier, am,fm, equalizer and two big speakers. In the box is about 15 cable cords. Each cord has a one red and one white cable on each end. She insist it sounds wonderful and wants it set up. I just spent 3 hours trying to figure it out, and ran out the door with a headache. Any one have step by step instructions? THANKS!!!!

look on the back of the amplifier. You will see a lot of sockets marked TAPE In /OUT, PHONO etc. You will need to plug in all the bits (tape, tuner, cd, turntable etc) here.

simply plug one red and white lead into each socket and the other end goes to the corresponding unit, ie. cd player one end, the other to amplifier's CD IN socket. (paired leads, one for left, one right. use same colour code , say red for right , for all devices)

LASTLY- you will need to wire up the speakers, these cables are different, probably dont have plugs on the ends of the cables it is a push-latch connector.
keep vol right down, in case you damage speakers at switch on (surge of loud audio can damage speakers). power up, and see if it works
