Glow worm energy saver 50?

It is 16 years old and water is dripping from the bottom of the burner chamber onto the external housing which is rusty. Can anybody tell me the cause of this and how to fix it

best advised have an engineer look at it, if the boiler casing is rusted through you could have fumes leaking back into the property, this aint good!!! or add leak seal to your water tank (the smaller one) turn off mains supply, whilst draining off from a radiator downstairs the water level in tank will drop, at this point add the leak seal you should see it disappear down the feed pipe once done, stop draining, cause your gonna lose all your leak seal if not. Switch your water supply back on and fill tank. big tip tho dont allow the system (everything below the water tank) to draw in air when its emptying, cause this will cause more hassle. hope all that makes sense
