fisher and paykel gwl11?

The start of all my problems is with weak spin and water on the floor after final spin.I took diverter off and found plastic from rim inside. I cleaned it out and put it back on. I put a wash on and it went through the wash but then started to beep as though it was off balance. I pushed the start button and it continued through rinse cycle and started to beep again and when I opened the lid it had not rinsed the detergent out but it did drain. I pushed the start again but this time it would not continue.
I then disconected the wires off the diverter and restarted wash on the permanant press setting as to not have to use the diverter and should complete the wash, rinse and spin. On this setting it did complete the full cycle with one problem it did not rinse the detergent out. Could I have put the diverter on the wrong way? Or does my control board need to be put to rest?

The code was 37 but this was before the diverter had been taken off the first time. I had not checked the code for the not rinsing detergent and not spinning before taking the diverter off a second time. I did put the diverter back on. The machine now works again. It could have been put on wrong or wiring was reverse polarity on diverter ( if that is possible ) Thank you for your site. It has been a great help!

Despite such a long detailed description you left out the most important bit. When it beeps there must also be a fault code showing. What is the fault code? That is the only way to help you sort it out.
