You can stop the annoyance of Pop Up Windows in a couple of ways.

You can use Pop Up Blocking software. (There are several free tools like Google's Toolbar which will block Pop Ups.)

You can set you browser to block Pop Ups. Firefox will do this by default. Consider switching to Firefox.

Depends on your browser e.g. IE, Opera, Firefox, etc but the common start place is to go to TOOLS.
