how can I change bearing on drum Hotpoint Aquarius WT 540?

I have removed drum from washing machine but having difficulty splitting the two halves of the outer drum to gain access to the inner drum !

Unfortunately you can't split the drums on WT - cost cutting by Hotpoint/Indesit means these are now welded shut. A whole new drum is required.
