Reset Procedure IW509 NZ Eco (Intuitive) F & P Wasing Machine?

I have a IW509 NZ Eco (Intuitive) Washing Machine - it's a Phase 5 IWECO - "Life Cycles" is the bottom right hand button on the top panel...

The machine has recently had a new LCD Screen fitted & its performance since then has been sporadic to say the very least...

It's latest trick is to start up & just sit there with the "Sensing" "Water Level" light flashing & thats as far as it gets through the wash cycle...

Is someone able to give the the reset procedure for this type of machine - I was told it should be to hold the "Fabric Care" button down for 4 seconds & then whilst holding the "Fabric Care" button down to hit "Power" & this should reset the machine but it doesn't appear to do anything apart from turn the machine off...

The shop I bought the machine off is closed until the 11th of Jan...

I am based in New Zealand if that is of any use...

Cheers

There is no magic reset procedure for fixing electronic control boards. Sometimes turning the power off & removing plug from wall socket for several minutes will allow the board to start from scratch if it has been upset by something but doesn't work every time. Pressing fabric care & the power on will only put you in to the machine size setting mode nothing to do with any reset. So you were given wrong advice there. If you recently had a new display board fitted it should be covered by warranty. Take the problem back to the person who fitted it. Any attempt by you to repair it yourself may cancel the warranty.
