How can I fix my Tricity Bendix AW1200W as the drum is not rotating?

The drum on my Tricity Bendix AW1200W fails to rotate on any cycle. I can hear the motor working inside the washing machine but no movement on the drum. I am also having problems removing the filter located at the bottom right of the machine. Could this cause the drum failure?

If the machine has tried to spin full of water then yes this could of caused the drive belt to come off or break.Use pliers to pull the filter out.if its full of bits and hasn't been out for a while it will be hard to remove.remove the back and check if the belt has come off or snapped.if it looks ok just refit it.
