Mira Eleite Shower Problem?

my shower is not flowing hot and cold water with any pressure and is making a labouring noise when the motor runs. The is blackening around the panel where the motor is positioned. Whats wrong?

If the unit is old, say over 3 yrs its likely the motor brushes are worn down
