electric fire?

my fire should blow out hot air but only blows cold,the lights work and you can here the sound but its only cold air comoing out any suggestions many thanks trev.

Either the element, the thermostat or safety cut-out are defective. You'll need a multi-meter or simple continuity tester to find out which.

they have a fan assembly that blows air over a heating element - warm air comes out - if the heating element is broken only cold air will come out - your heater very probably has a broken heating element.

Repair may well be not cost effective - fan heaters are relatively cheap and very efficient.
