How do I remove the flywheel from a Ryobi RCS3335 chainsaw, please?
David, December 2009
A lot of these small hobby chainsaws have an all alloy flywheel, this allows them to have a steep short crank taper, once the nut has been removed, give the flywheel a sharp tap on the non magnet side of the flywheel, it should then come off, there is usually a special tool to thread onto the crank to protect the threads, this is then hit with a hammer to remove the flywheel.
