How can I fix it?

I have a potterton Profile 50e.It comes on for a few minutes ,then makes a terrible noise in the pipes and stops.How can I fix it?

unlikely that this boiler will be on a sealed system, so i'd be checking the pump, sounds like the water isn't circulating.
