When Cold My Baxi Megaflow Shows wrong Temperature Celsius?

Hi
When my Baxi Megaflow is off and stone cold, the temp on the digital display is wrong by nearly 15 degrees celsius. When trying to get my home warm, I think the dial is really high to achieve any heat. Does the boiler have be calibrated or is it this normal. Would appreciate any advice. Cheers.

the boiler displays the internal temperature of the flow pipe, not the room temperature. it's normal to have a flow temperature of 70 - 80 degrees to heat radiators.

when you run the tap for domestic hot water the temp will rise and fall even if the central heating is off
