cant put sky box on its staying on standby

turn off at the mains.
hold the left and right buttons on the sky box.
turn on the power.(while still holding the buttons).
wait for the circle light to come on.
let go of the buttons and press the select button .
the lights should rotate backwards for a few seconds.
wait for a few moments then try pressing the on button on your remote.
hopefully people your back on track
** this will also erase all recorded programmes** SORRY!
