code for ford car stereo?

Hi, I had to disconnect my battery (on ford escort 1600 1996) and now found that the code for the stereo doesn't work. Just taken stereo out and it's june 01 so think code may have been for original stereo. Would anyone have the correct code for me pleeeeeeese?
