Are you refering to the hyd. cylinder outer body? Some cylinders take a special wrench but you can make do. The end with the seal in it around the shiny shaft needs to be unscrewed. You may have to use a vise and a 36" pipe wrinch or even a chisel. If you mean you cant remove the shaft from the casing..well...it may have to be pressed out in a machine shop. One time I had to use a logging chain on a 120hp tractor to get one apart. Good luck
